Tonight Backyard Bash

Dear Horizon Families,
TONIGHT is the night! Our FREE Family Backyard Bash is here and the sun is shining! Don't forget to bring your chairs or a blanket. Time: 5:30-8:00 pm.
We will have FREE bounce houses for all kids 6th grade and under, with one bounce house reserved for kids ages 5 and under. All Horizon students received their bouncehouse wristbands at school today and will be ready to play upon arrival! Additional free wristbands will be available at the PTA tent for younger siblings or students who were absent and need them. Our amazing teachers will be at our jumbo yard games to visit with or play games with students and families.
We are looking forward to our motorcycle drive-in and bike show from 6:30-7:30!
We will have a couple of food trucks, including Hot Dog On A Stick (who is generously giving us 15% back on all purchases), and Yeti Shave Ice, available for anyone who’d like to buy food. Otherwise, please bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the evening with our Horizon community!
Don’t forget: We are still running our Free Book Fair Book Drive and are seeking any new or used books in good condition to get into the homes of our students. Collection bins will be at the PTA tent.
We also need more members to join our PTA! PTA is a time commitment only if you choose to volunteer for something.
Membership is simply an opportunity for you to join the community network of Horizon parents, to have a say if you would like one, and to be in the loop of what’s happening at school. Of course there will be opportunities for those who are able to be involved, but again, membership alone is not a time commitment.
