Lexia Learning

Lexia Learning is a Rosetta Stone Company.  Any additional information you need can be found on their website.

Students can access Lexia at home through the summer until July 15, 2020.

When students login to their account, they will get information about the level they are working on, how many units they have passed and time they have been on the program.  The following screenshots will give you an indication as to what kind of information the program provides students regarding their progress.

The following screenshots will give you an idea of the flow of student instruction within the program. Students will take an auto placement when they start the program.

There are three steps for the instruction they receive depending on their understanding of the content. If students are still struggling with a concept once they’ve received the standard, guided practice, and instruction, the teacher is notified and will intervene with small group/individualized instruction.

The program offers support for many of our ELL students.  Not all the languages our students speak are available right now, but Lexia Learning is updating the program and adding new languages often.

This is a sample of what some of the Leveled Lessons and independent Skill Builders assignments look like. Students have multiple opportunities to show competency.

After completing a unit, Teachers recognize student success whether it be with the program provided certificates or by classroom teacher created reinforcement.
